Offensive Combat - A pretty good F2P in-browser FPS

Offensive Combat is another ol' FPS, this one's apparent specialty is trying to make itself look better than all the other ones, ironically by making fun of all the other ones somewhat subtly (the head of the developer studio is actually a former Call of Duty dev.) They also enjoy capitalizing on internet memes, which I find quite silly personally, but it probably effectively appeases the "14 year old 9gag user" section of their playerbase.

Offensive Combat is played 100% in browser, which is pretty cool actually, and the fact it actually works REALLY FUCKING WELL in-browser is cooler. The first time you load each map takes a while, which was a few minutes for me (and my internet is shit.) After that, it works like any other game, it just shows some loading screen with an aerial screenshot of the map highlighted by darkened/contrasted/blurred gradient edges. There are also "SO EDGY XD" loading messages like "Watching some fail videos..." and stupid shit that relates to internet culture.

You can buy new weapons via the coin system, which, SURPRISE: you get from killing people. If you're a spoiled rich white kid like me, your parents can also buy them for you. (I don't buy any though, because I've accepted by bourgeoisie ways as being harmful to my integrity, and I don't do stupid pseudo-cheating shit like that.) They add a new update every so often, which tends be quite quickly because the game is rather new (released Sept 27th.) You can rent whatever gun was most recently added with normal non-bought coins, and buy any other gun permanently. There are also weapon upgrades, camos, statistic "spins" which can add a slight boost to your weapon.





So, I didn't write all that for nothing. I want you to get me more stuff. I admit it. Registering via my referral gets me 500 coins. I like dosh. However, so do you. Thats the bad thing about most F2P games. They lure you in saying "Hey look, Its free and good! Get it!" but when you get in game you find out that there is something that looks so appealing to you and your like "GOTTA BUY IT NOW!".

Thats how Apps work, for example "Big Win Football" you play 10 games then when you play those you run out of energy and can either wait 30 minutes or buy "Big Bucks" to get 10 more games and some players Etc..Its the perfect money maker :P

I found it soso, I don't like Unity's stuff as it is hella buggy and man, I was having lots of lag with 150 ping, I play at SRH with 300 and almost no lag...

and heh, it's too child appealing.
