"Now this has bothered me for as long as I have been a brony. Most people who are not a brony and are ignorant and have this view that we are these disgusting acne ridden greasy nerdy people who obsess over "A show for 4 year old little girls". This description really hurts me and I don't like it. Now all the bronies I know do not meet this description and nor do I (I put link to an image of myself at the bottom) and even if some one does why does it matter. Liking a certain show does not define your physical description. Now I know its hard for a lot of people to grasp that MLP is not just mindless girly stuff anymore. There is alot of concepts a 4 year old would not understand that is why a lot of older people like it. On top of the characters actually have personalty's that people can relate to instead of the default pepy attitude. And personally I have an emotional connection to one of the characters because there personality resonates with me so much. And if you think I'm petty for having that then that is your problem. But all in all I just wish people would get there heads out of there asses and stop insulting and mocking a show/fan base with out even seeing what it is about. The last thing is the claim is that we treat this show like a "religion" that may be true is some cases its no different then the people that like anime. They can have merchandise, art, music and not get told there treating it as a "religion". I honestly think the hate is a Justin Bieber type hate where everyone hates it just because other people do."
