Am I right in saying that the MC server is dead?

Thaumcraft 3 just came out, and FTB created a new pack for it with other mods, called the Magic Pack. Also, RP2 is just 4 major bug fixes away from being done.

More because my net is crapping itself so badly I can't upload the server reliably, was hoping to have it resolved today but doesn't look like that's the case.

Unmodified tekkit isn't manageable, the server will destroy itself in a week or four because its so very unstable, I will not run any server in that state. Few things anger me, but you should fear to tread where others have not. |

Maybe try a Bukkit or plain vanilla server, it seems FTB isn't the way forward if you want to keep it in use.

After trying to find a suitable, stable, and anti-griefing tekkit server I could personally play on, I found that pretty much all tekkit servers that haven't died off have tons of items disabled. The amount of time and effort it takes to patch all of Tekkit's bugs is just insane. And at that point, Tekkit isn't even Tekkit anymore.

Based on my experiences, having a bukket server would be very profitable as well as it could add a substantial base of minecraft players to SRH providing that it's advertised appropriately, and it's plugins are managed efficiently.

I still have nothing against doing that, but as long as the majority wants tekkit style MC its what I'm trying to give them, either way I can't upload the updated server at the moment so it really doesn't matter. If you want it, throw up a poll and if it wins I'll switch it whenever I can get on to upload it.
