Anime is a much broader field, aimed at a much wider audience than MLP is. Comparing an anime thread and an MLP thread is like comparing the Media board to a hypothetical Panasonic DMP-BDT220 (DVD-player model) board which would target a specific model within a specific field of Media. It's simply not comparable, dumbfuck.
