Me personally:

Kaizo Mario Part 2

Difficulty ~ 5/5; As soon as you start the game, you are trapped with a thumper thing falling on you.

Rating ~ 9/10; Can't beat Mario.

Dark Souls

Difficulty ~ 4/5; Really high-risk, high-reward game, and high-satisfaction. Returns to classic games with a high level of difficulty, but still do-able.

Rating ~ 9.5/10; Was an amazing experience on consoles and PC.

Demon Souls

Difficulty ~ 4.5/5; The prequel was harder than the sequel, same satisfaction when you beat that last boss that kills you over 45 times.

Rating ~ 9/10; Some technical issues, but overall great game.

That's not the game being hard.
Saying it was hard because you couldn't jump is like saying that "football/soccer is hard" when you have cerebral palsy.
