[REQ] ooc and staff using steam names

Currently the OOC and staff chat channels use the RP names.
I think it would be better to use steamnames there

No cause most of the users knows other users by their RPName.

what is the reasoning with this?

It goes both ways, admins can be anonymous in RP and since people won't know that they are admins they won't treat them differently in RP either.

I know drake talked about this before so it will probably be implemented sooner or later but I don't think it has high priority right now.

What if My steam name was the same as my RP name.

But then admins could be confused about RP rule breaks with the names being diffrent.

I was on the server today, 10 people online, 5 of which were admin.
No i don't really need it but others like to know who is admin.

Having a totally different name is confusing for most.
Maybe have ooc display rpname (steamname): text

Maybe for admins it will display RP name and steam name in ooc and for users it will be just steam name in ooc?
