Rate the last movie you watched
Simple rate the last movie you watched (out of 10) and post (if you wish) why you liked/disliked the movie, but try to avoid posting any spoilers.

Last movie I watched was Repo! The Genetic Opera. This movie was a blood bath musical and from last I read Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 2.3/10, This is basically what you get from reading the back. I rate this a good 9.5/10 for good singing, compelling story line, and very well done art within the movie. This movie has become a cult classic (Only in Portland where there is some reenactments done there, I still need to go) I would approve of any one who goes online and watches it.

also about the Wholesale Jewelry...

You obviously haven't read the book, then.
The Hobbit was LOTR-ified to feed, guess who, the LOTR fans.

In reality, The Hobbit and LOTR are extremely different, written in different ways, and for a different audience. Having Peter Jackson direct it (Same guy who directed LOTR) was a massive fucking mistake, and so was adding LOTR elements.
The Hobbit was a fucking trainwreck, made to have the average mindless American consumer have a nerdgasm without any real appreciation for the actual story.

Sacrificing the actual story and mood of a work simply to satisfy a completely different audience than intended is plain retarded, and so are you.

Looper, 7/10

Could've done a lot more with the story, I feel.

Skyfall, 9/10

Amazing movie, could've worked on the special effects.

Life of Pi, 7.5/10

Could've done a lot more with the story.

Spoiler:
Why hello there insanity
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

I have to agree, Some things about it were bad but I do think it was a decent movie but due to the movie is not over I am quite sure that I will go watch the others because my family loves these sort of things.
