Good computer for an $700 - $800 budget?
I am going to be buying a new computer soon, and I need help finding good ones for my price range. I have built some on cyberpowerpc.com and ibuypower.com and will probably get one from there if I don't find any better cheaper computers. I won't build one myself so please don't suggest I do that, I will some other time. I want one that can play most games maxed out or at least high settings.
I would prefer a computer with an Intel i5 processor liquid cooling, and 8gb of RAM anything else doesn't really matter to me. I would also prefer one with LEDs. Also should I get Windows 8 or 7? I really hate the new GUI for Windows 8, but heard it is better for gaming and is a lot faster than Windows 7.

Some of my choices
http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Holiday_M...I/w/150691
Non-Intel processor

http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Gamer_Pal...7/w/150692
A little too expensive

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...=ibuypower
Ugliest damn case I have ever laid my eyes on

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6883227437
AMD Processor and Windows 8

I've just actualy bought a new gaming pc.....

AMD FX-4170 4.4GHz Quad Core CPU
16GB of 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM
2TB Hard Drive Storage Space
ATI Radeon HD 6670 2GB Graphics Card
High Performance Motherboard
DVD-RW +/-
Vantage Gaming Case & 450W Standard PSU
New Windows 8 OS Disk & Key Included

That for £499.95 ($806.77)

It actualy depends what you want to do with the pc, I was told that the Intel i7 is the best one to get but got the AMD insted becuase of the price of the computer. Just have a look around and actualy try Ebay. You do get some good deals on there!

I'm looking for a computer as well, this one looks nice, however there are a lot of reports about the power button getting stuck and not being able to start.

Yeah i7s are the best, but AMDs are a lot cheaper and have good performance as well. I might just get an AMD pc since they are a lot cheaper and I can always upgrade parts later. Are processors hard to swap out?

My friend bought that recently and I think I will too. He hasn't had any problems with his I don't think. Even if the power button does get stuck it's not hard to fix that, like at all.

I have the exact opposite because I'm on a budget, but that's what you should be aiming for.

oh no please don't do this.

My recommendation is to save up a bit of money, buy a large tower case with a window, and investing in a motherboard that'll allow you to keep upgrading your other parts for the coming years.

lol I was just going to make my own but I am lazy ass hell and didn't want to screw it up. I could always upgrade the parts to the one I ordered (same one as Clutch)
I will also help him upgrade if he needs any.
The only thing I don't really like about it is that it has a mATX motherboard instead of an ATX so it doesn't have much room for upgrades. It will be a pain in the dick to replace, but whatever I will do it eventually. Other than that I could easily upgrade everything else.

You do realize that the motherboard is the only thing that's hard to choose, right?
Everything needs to be compatible with it. Saying "The motherboard is hard to upgrade but the rest is easy" is like saying that you're going to buy a new computer.
If you have a shit motherboard (like one that only supports AMD *shudder*), you're going to have a shit computer.
