[REQ] Possible Fading-door solution/idea
I was discussing the whole 'halo-effect' with Inferno on the server and I had an idea, feel free to criticize or shoot it down, but what if the CP's/Thieves spawned with or could attain/purchase a short-range sensor that could be activated that would make the halo around fading doors appear? Instead of having the fading door's have the halo at all times, the two classes that would deal with them the most would have said device at a limited range to reveal them. I am not sure what else would go into them, range, recharge-time if any, how long the halo would appear and to whom, etc, but it might be a convenient way to solve the problem, or an idea to jump-start another? Or it might just be a bad idea.

There is already a suggestion like this! And you know that
The halo around the doors is so that you know where a door is. If we remove it we probably end up setting a rule that your door mus have a other visual texture then the rest so it is easily discovered. What is it that is bad on the halo's? Forum To-Do List Request Form for bugs and suggestions |
