Arresting someone who defend theirselves

Ok so I arrested someone for murder

They were defending themselves but I arrested them because they killed their assailant

Am I in the wrong?

You aren't in the wrong, he should have called the police instead of handling it himself. I have dealt with things like this all the time when I'm Cp, a guy punches someone then the guy who was punched takes out an ak 47 and kills him, then claims self defense. just because you were hit doesn't automatically make it legal to murder.

If someone is trying to KILL you it is LEGAL to kill them in self defence. If they're merely punching you then you should really run to a cop.

Seems more fail rp to me like if they punch you once it gives you the right to kill them

Murder isn't murder if it's self defence lol. I wouldn't say it was legal to shoot someone that punches you, no. If they whipped out a gun though and try to blow you off the planet then yes, it is legal to shoot them first.

If you don't have fists though... and don't want to look like a pussy going to the cops, then your only option is to kill them.
