[REQ] Thief player model
How about having the thief model to be the same as citizen? I think it would make gameplay as thief more interesting. Like how in irl you woulden't no if someone was a thief or not.

If someone identifies you as a thief just because you have the thief model, call an admin because that's metagaming.

+1.

Let's be realistic. Yes, it's metagaming to know a person is a thief just by their player model, but really, a thief is standing outside your door and you aren't going to be suspicious? Or treat them differently when talking to them? You can't help it.

I like this Idea a lot.

^^ yes, exactly
And this way, we can avoid those situations where we need to call a admin due to metagamng entirely.

Let's be realistic, if you as a thief at least know what the fuck you are doing and you aren't a low life thug from some cheap ass gang you will probably wear a ski mask or anything that covers your face when doing a robbery/breaking into a place. You don't want to risk being caught by surveillance systems or being seen by a eyewitness will you?

RE: [REQ] Thief player model
Im just saying, having the thief model as it is is pretty annoying. I mean just because im a thief doesn't mean that im gonan be walking around with a mask on 24/7. Also im tired of being treated differently because of my model. I know "call a admin" but if I were to call a admin everytime something happened because of my model it would get bothersome. I dont see why the thief has to have its own seperate model. Its not like a thief goes "well, time to rob, wheres my uniform?" and if im going to rob, why not just use a disguise. If those ever come back.

You just further proved my point. Thieves are being discrimnated because of thier model. Thats the main reaosn I think the model should be changed.
Being biased toward someone based off of their model is metagame. There is no way to stop it or anything. Like maddawg said, what would you do if you saw someone with a thief model eyeballing your door? If it was a citizen you would shrug it off. But if it was a thief you would stay to see what they do, protect your home in other words. Forcing thieves to look differently then everyone else just seems unfair. And I hope some people will agree with me on this.

But in this case... the skimask is just an alrm to anyone with valueables nearby. Why not put disguises back in so we can actually "wear a ski mask or anything that covers your face when doing a robbery/breaking into a place." no way as of now to do anything remotly close to that.

Also, if people won't be trusted then that could create some better rp. Insted of cp knowing exactly who stole what based off of models (happens more then you think it does) they actually would have to do some investigating. And it gives thieves the chance o try to blend into a crowd of people instead of being watched like a hawk by local vendors.
The other day I was arrested by a cp who "heard lockpicking", he ran around the corner saw i was a thief in a group of ppl and arrested. i called an admin and that resulted in about 6 mins of time lost due to a simple metagame.
