the main reason j-pop has subtitles is because there's a large fanbase of japan-enthusiasts which already has a culture of subbing in place due to media such as anime
people like k-pop because it's fresh and enthusiastic
i don't like k-pop myself, but I see why people like it

Great point, but the thing is, people can't even understand the point behind the song, if they can't understand what they're singing about (Obviously it's about a boy, but if you look at other songs, ie. Gangnam Style, you don't know shit what it's about) their really isn't any point in watching it.

Lyrics aren't the only thing behind a song, man.
People like songs based on both the track and the vocals, and the vocals don't even need to be understood to be enjoyed.

I don't understand why people hate other genre of songs, and I don't even understand why people think their opinions on music even matter.
If it sounds good, and it's something you like, listen to it.
