This idea will replace the CPs ability to set the time for an arrest. On the first arrest the player will only be arrested for like 30 or 45 seconds(these numbers are only for example). If the player gets arrested again within let's say 10 minutes, then they would be in for 90 seconds and so on. Another cool idea would to put a computer in PD that lists all the arrests made, the players RP name, length of sentence, and the reason.

Oh, sure, 45 seconds for murdering the mayor, 90 for throwing a bottle after being unarrested. I can see how it gets much more fair.

It's a nice thought Tumor, but it just wouldn't work out. Rodrigo's reason is obvious enough. The computer/database for keeping track of people's arrest records would be rather interesting, though not sure how difficult it would be. If a CP is lucky enough to catch someone and arrest them, they should set the time in good knowledge knowing what they did wrong, because most criminals tend to run or shoot first, when the cops say "Freeze" how many of them actually do so? Let the cops have their day if they choose to arrest you instead of shooting you dead.

Interesting, I didn't even think about that, that's a nice point too. Not everyone simply throws a bottle, most of them throw a bottle then proceed to run, assault, attempted murder if they do not murder someone in the process of avoiding arrest...
