[REQ] Cooldown on Prop Spawning
We all know that when someone comes in to our server and spams props like crazy, then the server freezes, then we have to clean up the whole server then we get some people mad. When we're really building something we always use a few seconds to get out the tool gun and apply something to a prop.

If we had about 5 seconds before spawning a new prop we can have more time to respond to spammers.

When someone try's to spam, admins could get a notification who is trying to excessively spawning props.

This makes it harder for legitimate users to spawn props.

Plus, it is very easy for admins to detect spam.

Useless, you'd get lots of popups when someone spawned a dupe and you wouldn't have time to react if someone good started prop spamming, and when you actually had noticed the popup, you'd be already lagging enough to tell that it is prop spam.

I could easily goto another server, make a dupe that would crash the server and then use it to get around the spam protection. I think that this owuld cause more problems then it fixes.

I think the basic idea is okay. However for the time it would take to code it, test it, and tweak it till we got it right, would not be worth it for a minor problem that is easy enough anyway.

i agree with troll, it wont matter if this happens or not people can still prop spam with or without the cooldown

Or, it should be like another flag group where trust players don't have a timer and new comers have timers. Like, say they stayed in the server for about 50 hrs or so. They should get a trusted flag, so they don't have the timer anymore.

I don't know just a suggestion.

i dont think that would matter either Taco, there were a couple people the other day that were trusted in the community and got perma'd for it
