|
I need help.
I am having trouble with DirectX and Garrys mod. I have a new PC, so I have re-downloaded Garrys mod, I have run other source games so I know it has to be a problem with DirectX and not that Garrys mod needs you to run another source game first. When I try to start it it says it is out of date, and sends me to this page. I have downloaded it and run the folder. When I click it it says "Are you sure you want this program to make changes to your computer" and I click yes, but still nothing happens?
Has anyone got any suggestions or experienced this before? Spoiler:
Any one can make up fake statistics, 85 percent of all people know that. |

Uninstall Garry's Mod, restart your computer, reboot your computer, download latest directX, right click the setup and choose "Run as admin", reinstall Garry's Mod.

A long long time ago (not really) when clicking shutdown in your operating system your computer wouldn't power off you had to do it manually, maybe he's referring to that.
Or it's a typo. |
