Please describe exactly what happened, from start to finish:

So i have just finished building a small little propshop for selling guns to people (lvl 3 gd), I spawned my self a TMP (2 ammo) to defend against thief or MobBoss's trying to attack my shop. 3 Minutes passed and i had no costumers mostly because everyone just in a circle talking about random things. So i switched my job to thief, despawned my shop and went to go raid someone. Broncaholics trader shop was the only shop in the towncenter, so i lock picked the backdoor. I was seen by a hobo and he yelled "RAID" 3 people came into the backroom and began shooting at me. I respawned, however Broncaholic TP'd to me and said that i job abused by keeping my TMP from gundealer to thief. Me and few others told him that in GMOD13 when you switch jobs, you keep all of your weapons. However he continued to say that when i switch jobs i forget everything in my past life. He then starts to say that i job abused and spawned myself a TMP to raid his shop, however i had the TMP beforehand. He then warns me for Job abuse, which is complete bullshit. I think the real reason he went through all of this trouble was because he wanted revenge on me for providing evidence on troll's report.

I'm not very sure that NLR applies to switching jobs but correct me if I'm wrong and if you just switched from a GD to theif within like 2-5 minutes then it might have been job abuse but if you we're really tired of waiting around for like 10-20 minutes then yea it's not really job abuse

Alright so the logs can support everything I say, also Necromancer and Hailil were there as witnesses. Reagent makes a large gun shop in the middle of the road. As the logs shows how he argued with us for a while over it, we finally got him to make a smaller one on the side of the road. As he did this he just went afk in it for a while frapping what I said for some reason. He than bought himself a TMP, switched jobs to their and not a minute later runs into the back of Church's store(which I co-owned) as he entered I went in the back of the store and shot and killed him with a Deagle. I then checked the console which supported that he did infact abuse jobs and so I warned him.

Also, this had nothing to do with the Troll report, I just enforce the server rules. I am sorry if you feel I directed it towards you but I would do this to anyone breaking the rules.

it did seem fishy that he did this with in about a 5min period

the time between him buying the tmp as a gun dealer, switching to thief, getting killed by bronc, and me bleeding out(i was the hobo that saw him raid so i got shot) were too close to not be self supply to me

So let me tell what the logs show, i will not claim for now only get the talking going

It doesn't show guns spawned, it doesn't show job switches so there is no way we can tell whether he purposely did that as job abuse.
There is 1 other thing that worries me.

You 2 are acting like children. Reagent especially you.
You are constantly bugging Bronc in ooc how bad admin he is, digging up ancient stories.
Bronc should not have dealt this issue him self. He should have someone else take care of it.
Why? because he is infected because of that you are bugging him. In that situation i'm wondering if you can make a proper decision.

The story seems fishy, yet prove to me that he purposely spawned that gun and the switched to thief.
Gmod 13 doesn't remove your gun yet when switching jobs so if he had that gun and switched job then he still has it. He can't really dispose of it.

Switching jobs is not a new life. So you CAN remember stuff from before. Like in real life you can go do another job. You are not brainwashed when you go practice another profession.

So clue of the story, KNOCK IT OFF! grow up both, forget the past and move on!

I was there when the incident happened, It had showed in the normal console that he had switched to thief and then shortly after- raided us (within two-three minutes) I also gave Broncaholic the confirmation that he could warn him via voice chat. If anyone was to be punished, it's me. On another note, Reagent, and Broncaholic, you two need to talk to each-other and try to find out why you guys don't seem to like one another.

This was not necessary, I don't believe the EC want your opinion on why he did it.

As well as this, you continued to claim that you were recording us on FRAPS, if you were doing this, and believe you didn't job abuse, just post the video you supposedly recorded.

I did record on fraps, however i only recorded for 30 mins and that was when i was GD.. I stopped recording in fraps 10 mins before i switched jobs.

I think so but I think due to a bug it only records audio right now (completely unsure as I have not bothered using it.)

After dealing with situations with Reagent it would seem he gets off of on trying to get any sort of attention he can by throwing himself into situations he has no business being in. While I was not on the server with my actual account I was watching Bronc play, and from this perspective it was OBVIOUS that he spawned a TMP, went and went theif. Reagent, in my opinion is very much like ERG, in the fact that he believes all admins are out to get him and they all ab00se their powers to get back at him for being a self-proclaimed herald of truth.

TL:DR Watched bronc, Reagent is paranoid, obviously he bought a gun as GD went Thief then immediately raided, I would have warned him myself if I was on. Reagent=Erg

Just to add I was gundealer for about 1-2 hours so i didn't become a GD to buy myself a TMP to go raid someone. If you guys looked at the logs you can see this.

Claimed, I've reviewed the logs. Like i mentioned before you guys need to settle this your self kind of. You 2 hate each other. So there are 2 options change that or ignore each other for the rest of your lifes.

Now to the details. Judgement is on the the admin to judge whether something is right or wrong. If we look at the plain rules they define job abuse as following:

Quote:Do not do another job's role. Whichever job you have, stick to the description.
Do not briefly switch to a job to gain something such as ammo or guns, then switch back.
Some jobs may not work or base together. Please take this into consideration when playing with friends.
Do not act as an assassin/hitman. You can be demoted without warning if you do this.
When becoming a custom job, please choose something that has some form of income.
Do not become a custom job that imitates one of the set roles.

In this case the players was already GD, he didn't change briefly to get a gun. So to a rule standpoint it is not Job Abuse.
Yet that doesn't mean there is no reason for warning. I can understand that it is fishy he changes job and instantly raids bronc when they both were having an argument. But rules don't forbid that. They don't tell you who you can or cannot raid.

Now the last point is can he keep his gun. Previously on Gmod 12 the gun was taken away. In order to keep your gun you had to drop it and so on. This would be job abuse. Yet currently this feature is not yet presented. So can you blame him? No what is he else supposed to do with it?

After this long story i can clear that this is not job abuse. There for the warning is invalid and will be removed.
