Help A Moose Out

So I've been bored at the house lately, so I figured I would try painting another Xbox controller after my last few mostly successful attempts.

So I've decided on one of the following two designs.
First we have "Honey Comb Hexagon".
Secondly, there is the Chainlink Fence.

Then, I was pondering on what colors would look nice.
For the Honeycomb Hexagon, I was thinking of a bright yellow/green background, while making the hexagon black.

For the chainlink fence, I was thinking a light or dark grey background with very dark grey/black for the chainlink.

Thoughts?

I think the honey hexagon comb would look awesome with those colours.
As for the chain link... Don't really know about that combo of colours.(Though I suck at imagining colour combos, so don't listen to me that much.)

Dont do a honeycomb, just do hexagons on a light greywhiteblue background, the hexagons being a semi-translucent tealish blue.

Shit would be so legit.

I think washed out colors would fit a device like a controller.
Something bright and vivid wouldn't really look "fitting" on something like that, I don't know how to describe it.

I have both a PS3 and an Xbox 360 (and a PC and Wii, for that matter). Both are equally shit, but have their advantages. It all comes down to preference.
