So after i lost internet connection because my plan finished, i ordered Telstra internet (fastest internet in Australia) and after 2 weeks some clown came and installed the router in the wrong place *facepalm* the modem was supposed to be in the study where my desktop is and he installed it in the fucking living room. i told him to rip a hole thru the study wall and install a adsl2 port so the modem can be there the fucktard ripped a hole thru the living room wall. now i need to find a 50metre Ethernet cable to use the internet on my desktop. who the fuck gave this fucktard a job or Australian citizenship. Now srh is back online and i can't find a Ethernet cable long enough.

The company won't do shit because it's not their job. They probably got clear instructions to put the router where the incoming fibre/adsl/whatever is located. The rest is your problem.

Just buy a cheap switch or a repeater and you're set.
