Is World of Warcraft any good?

I'm thinking of getting World of Warcraft?
Is it any good?
Has any one got it?

I have just finished watching Lord Of The Rings, and wanted a fantasy type game, would this be any good?

For WoW, yes.

For guild wars you pay once.

Every game has some kind of grind part. Only the endgame of guild wars 2 can become a grindfest if you, want to do something difficult like get a legendary weapon.

The only thing that sucked about guild wars 2 Imo is the RNG.

I for one have played Wow for a long time, but I wouldn't recommend it. The game basically plays you. Once you get to max level(90) all you will do is constantly do the same thing over and over. Literally, if you stand in the wrong spot on a boss you'll be yelled at if you're in a raid. I got so fucken angry at it due to the constant repeating. I would recommend Diablo 3 or guild wars. They have a little more depth.

Well Diablo III was fun at the start, but as you progressed into inferno it started to become impossible unless you had gear.

Gear was hard to get and everything was expensive on the TP, they then decided to make the economie worse by adding a the REAL money Action house. Having 2 vallutas in 1 market is just terrible, because people will sell it at the Real money auction house since it more profitable.

At the same time there will be a shortage of this gear which made everything so expensive to get with in game money.

I can't understand why someone would pay €250 for a piece of gear.

I would highly recommend Path Of Exile, goes Open beta this month, OR you can drop $10 for early access, there is a IRL currency buts its for vanity things only, no gear or in game buffs

I love Diablo III, I just started inferno the other day.

I have 300 hours in Diablo III (no regrets). They added monster levels recently so everyone can do Inferno now, but it does affect your chance on getting good gear.

idk much on guild wars but i quit WoW 8 months ago.

it just got SO ANNOYING at how you have to be PERFECT or else you are NOTHING!

i just play rift, you have more involvment with the world, and the community is actually pretty nice.

you dont have to do repetitive dungeons, annoying raids, or strict pvp.

you can just sit around in a small town or village and trouble will come to you.

You don't have to do stupid fetch quests, everything happens around you aka dynamic events.

Yea RNG is crap in almost every game, because they want you to keep playing to get that special item.

The pretend you are a female has became worse over time since people found it was easily abused, because some people are just desperate.

If your looking for a fantasy game, might I suggest Skyrim\Oblivion? Neither are MMORPG's but they are RPG's with thousands of hours of gameplay. All of the current MMORPG's are the same, just with different quests lol.
