[REQ] Handcuffs/Zip-ties
This may be a shitty idea, it might not, we'll see. It's partially inspired by a mechanic I've seen in HL2RP. Basically, you can tie someone's hands, preventing them from taking most actions aside from movement. It might be interesting to see this, as it would give kidnapping/prisoner transport roleplay a chance. Nowadays it's all about criminals going "GIMME ALL YUR LOOTZ OR DED!". This would provide them with kidnapping/ransom as well as some interesting hostage roleplaying. It'd also help them out seeing as fear-rp isn't actually enforced in DarkRP. It's just a small idea I had. Also, when I am a CP, I like to question prisoners and bring them to the mayor, etc, and some people willingly give, so it'd be cool instead of the magical TP jailstick.

when handcuffed/tied you should be able to push them around or carry them so they just dont walk to a high edge or run away to find a thief

+1 I've always wanted handcuffs.

For example: A cop sees a fist fight going on. He runs over and handcuffs them. He tells them to knock it off and if it happens again, they're both going to jail. A bit more realistic than "OMG fist fight 300 seconds in jail der."

As much as I would like non-lethal equiptment like this, it's been suggested over and over and over, so I really don't expect it to ever happen.

[REQ/SUG] Level 3 Mobboss handcuffs
I think it would be very interesting if level 3 mobbosses could have a pair of handcuffs. It would allow for more realistic hostage negotiations. For example, you take the mayor hostage, OH SHIT, he's fuckin strappin, pulls out a goddamn shotgun, shoots the mobboss, switches to his AK and mows down all the gangsters. Not realistic.

-The handcuffs would be restricted to level 3 for obvious reasons, don't want minges running around hand cuffing every player.

-The Mobboss would spawn with one pair, but can buy more in his F4 menu for $100 each. You can take handcuffs back after removing them from your hostage. This would be so you can take a whole building hostage and not have to worry about that one civilian that for some reason is fuckin straight up strapped with every gun possible, 200 health, med kits, bandages, and armor.

- The Handcuffs would not instantly lock, they would take a couple of seconds, I say equivalent to the time it takes cops to weapon confiscate.

- Maybe there can be a zip tie option too, that would only be $50 to buy, but any person can take them off of you, not just mobbosses and thieves.

- When the person is handcuffed, it would be the same as when you are handcuffed in jail. No weapons and slow walking.

What do you guys think? Any other suggestions?

I meant confiscate weapon's, I'll fix that. It takes a couple seconds for cops to confiscate.

Anyways I can go to a military store and buy a good pair there.

Good idea over all, maybe give cops the ability to remove them too with some time added, so if the cops do manage to find the hostage area, they can kill the gang and get the hostages back.

I hate when you take someone hostage and they /advert "OMG maddawg is howlding meh ho0stage halp me plz we are in red warehouse." and then 10 fuckin cops raid you.
Maybe we could do the "anyone can take them off" idea, but for anyone not a CP it would take about as long as lockpicking a door, but for CP only as long as it takes to confiscate weapons. (Just so that a random minge civilian can't run in and free all your hostages in 2 seconds.)

-They are only buyable, the mobboss should not spawn with them
-Any class can remove them but it takes a long time. CPs and EMS can remove them half as fast.
