Another little problem
So about 30 minutes ago after I exited a Steam game it wouldn't let me bring up Steam or my browser or anything unless I hit my source button on my monitor, but then I need to press it again if I want to be able to play a game and it is getting annoying. Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? I have the auto adjust on and it isn't doing anything. Also another problem is whenever my monitor goes to sleep it won't wake up unless I restart my computer.
another thing I notice is that I can't see the time or date at the bottom right when I am in the mode that lets me look at Steam and my browser Also I have tried restarting my computer already ![]() Quotes Spoiler:

RE: Another little problem
Just reformat your computer. Also, invest in another monitor/graphics card

It started right after I played Red Faction: Armageddon Also this is a brand new computer and my monitor hasn't had any problems before. ![]() Quotes Spoiler:

RE: Another little problem
>implying google chrome isn't a virus
Solution to your problem: 1. Make sure the game resolution is the same as the one of your monitor, no bigger or smaller. 2. Try Ctrl+Alt+del next time ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) |

RE: Another little problem
Nevermind didn't fix it. I restarted my pc and it is happening again, it keeps switching what things it will allow in each mode, also the unplugging and plugging back in won't fix it now.

RE: Another little problem
First: Your PC can get infected from doing as little as going to google.com.
Second: You don't have a virus. Third: You're fixing it by changing the source of input on the monitor? You've got something wired wrong. Fourth: Your positioning is broken, fix it by going into your fans options and modifying the horizontal and vertical positions manually. (Fix the clipping.) Fifth: Multi-Monitor display? Sixth: Model/Brand of your monitor? Its going into hibernation (To save power.), there will be a specific way to wake it. Few things anger me, but you should fear to tread where others have not. |

I am sure it is hooked up correctly, DVI cord to DVI port and VGA cord to VGA port. 4:What would the fans have to with this? 5: No 6: It is an HP, http://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-HP-2010I/14903828 I just found out that my computer thinks that I have to monitors, how do I make it only recognize this as one instead of two? I guess I could unplug my VGA cord and only run off of DVI, but I woul rather not. Ok I think I fixed it for real this time, I changed the setting from "Extend these displays" to "Duplicate these displays" Anyways thanks for helping everyone. ![]() Quotes Spoiler:
