Area 51 idea

Has anyone ever thought of flying a UAV over area 51?
Like a RC plane that attached with a camera and a radio video transmitter with industrial strength batteries. It could take pics of the secret if there is one.

Well for starters it's a military base so if a foreign country did that it would probably be taken as an act of war and I doubt any private company/person has both the interest, the money and the connections available to pull of something like that.

Also it would probably be shot down pretty fast since the security is probably pretty good.

What if you made it stealth? Undetectable by radar using wavelength reflection techniques. Also if you made it small enough the missiles may be not accurate enough.

Depends on what your definition of "powerful" is.
In terms of technologically advanced equipment, then yeah.
Definitely not in terms of sheer manpower

But yeah, they probably have high tech sensors that would be able to pick up on many modern stealth tactics.

Any unauthorized aircraft over any US military base will be shot down, as it is restricted airspace, no questions asked. Area 51, which is actually not what everyone thinks it is, is no exception.

If you flew over Nellis AFB, same response. If you flew over any AFB, same response. It's standard protocol. The aircraft could have hostile intentions, so they take no chances.

Large aircraft sighted, size of a football stadium.

(1 or 2 hours later)

[Large aircraft spotted again near Phoenix NM]

[Aircraft reported crashing]

[Large radiation burns on bodies of nearby family in a car, 1 or 2 survivors]

[Government vehicles and aircraft surround the area]

[No debris is left behind]



I believe our government is reaching what we've seen in movies, the ability to travel a distance such as America to Russia in under an hour.
