My structure
This is my structure for my wasteland map that I am currently residing upon (thanks mystcraft), and it is just the 'tip if the iceberg' so to speak. I am going to have a huge complex underground bunker system, self sustaining, mostly containing Universal Electricity stuff. (Oh god atomic science is so much cooler than IC nuclear reactors >.>)
As you can see, it is still under construction, and the world looks very wastelandish. (Thats what you get for not sustaining earth, and you have to live in underground bunkers and biodomes) Spoiler:

It looks pretty cool!
Honestly I've been wanting to get away from the stereotypical castles n monsters in Minecraft- it's part of the reason I stopped playing it near as much. After surviving to the End Dragon and building so many things, I just got bored of it. It was cool as fuck. It was eventually going to have some sciency stuff, maybe a control panel for universal electricity ICBM's to launch them and shit..
Then I discovered my age was corrupt as fuck too, and tried to save it on a blueprint. Sadly, the blueprint shit itself and buildcraft blueprints are shit so it didnt work now I have to build the fucking thing all over again. Spoiler:

UPDATE: Re-completed structure in another dimension, stable as fuck now.
Inner platform, about five blocks off the floor. Ground level, pretty much an open area just to hang around in, might put some special stuff down here later. catwalk off of the platform, down a ladder to the bottom floor. Outside, completed structure. Spoiler:
