Field Trip : a visit made for purposes of firsthand observation

I never made the honor roll in elementary school. Although, my third grade teacher did take me and 4 other students out for lunch because we got 100% on a test or something like that.

Second grade teacher ruined my hand writing by forcing me to use cursive when all the other kids got to print. Eventually my writing just became a sloppy mix of the both. Her excuse was "You are going to use it in life anyways." Then she told my mother that I had to go to some whack ass printing camp, where I spent my fucking summer. And guess what? it did nothing but tell me how to make a fucking B.

I tried telling my mom how horrible of a teacher she was. Of course, adults don't listen to kids at that age.
