Oh yeah, I remember all my internet explorer browsing escapades I did in the 90's.

Off-topic-ish:
IE 10 is actually really good -- especially on Windows 8.
As far as my experience with IE9 and 10 go, they're no where near as bad as
seemingly everyone who doesn't use them makes them out to be. /shrug.

Aesthetics/third-party modifications excluded, the only difference I honestly notice between
IE10 and Firefox/Chrome is a small (yes, small. It's hardly noticeable to me) speed differential.

I can perfectly understand how a lot of -typically older- people don't bother changing browsers.
To them, it's probably not worth the "hassle" to change or something.

I'm probably doing something very wrong, but whatever.
I understand people who hated it during that awkward ie5/ie6 stage, and people who hate it because they're "forced"
to develop for it, but the majority of people who rip on it just do so because "it's really slow". I guess it's a bandwagon.

Personally, my standard web browser is Firefox. If I want to use a Chromium-based one I'll stick to SRware Iron or Comodo.

I love how probably none of the IE haters here have used the new IE and yet are criticizing it.
Firefox just isn't as worse as IE, but it gets kicked in the butt by both Google Chrome and Opera.

Netscape was definitely at least as good as Internet Explorer's versions 1 through 5.
Widely accepted as "better" than.

Opera may have been "better" in some aspects then, but you had to like, buy it until (I think) the year 2000 -- and even for a while after that (2004? 2005?), it was full of advertisements.
Not sure on how Mosaic/anything else stacked up against it.
