What is the difference between HL2RP and Cider 2?
I went on Bronc's HL2 server, having never played on a hl2 server, and to me it seemed exactly the same as a cider 2 server. Its starts up and you have to make a name, description, and give attributes. To me, I can't see the difference between HL2 and Cider 2. Is Cider 2 just even more realistic or something? I really only play Dark RP so I don't know.

HL2RP is HALF LIFE 2 RP

HL2RP is set in the half-life universe and uses its lore
Cider 2 has no lore and is set in 2025 The reason they look the same is because they use the same gamemode Open Aura (Thanks Hail) Quotes:
