Don't let stupid people be on your friends list and you won't have to deal with it.

Well thats a bad idea, in my previous school I tried to avoid the group of idiots and in the end they turned into enemies and made school harder for me.

You have to act as if you are friendly with these people so that you stay on their neutral side.

This has worked suprisingly well for me.

Never worked for me. Then again, I've never had a reason to try it.
I'm friendly with most people, as long as they're friendly to me. I'm often overly sarcastic towards people, come with silly comments, pretty much how I am on SRH.
It's all in good fun, though, and I usually don't mean anything by it. But again, if there's an idiot or ten who find themselves with a problem, and actually do anything about it, I'll retaliate rather quick.
In middle school until what Americans call Junior High or whatever, I'd have a short temper. I.e. charge at someone, literally flip tables, or throw chairs if I got pissed enough. Nobody really messed with me by the end of that, and I still had friends and girlfriends, as people I weren't in conflicts with didn't see a problem with me.
I've also been good at psychological damage my entire life. I've had a sharp tongue, and a way of saying the things I know will move them.
That's mostly what I rely on now, as I'm a much calmer person than I was a few years ago.

I once made a guy I ws in an ongoing conflict with cry in a bathroom downstairs by coming with small sarcastic comments of him being gay (he was like semi-homophobic, and I knew it pissed him off immensely) and leaving small notes around everywhere. He didn't last a week, lol.
