DarkRP Tactics
Awright- so I've got a hold on DarkRP now that I've been here for a while. This is REALLY basic so don't like peck holes in it, I'm not making an in-depth analysis or anything. From what I've gathered, DarkRP is an elaborate territorial deathmatch between multiple opposing forces- the two Gangs and the Civil Protection. They fight for control over the city.
But there are multiple neutral parties in this battle that generally keep the war afloat- suppliers, traders, etc. While they are neutral, some are more lawful (like EMS) while others are chaotic (thieves). The question is, what is your favorite class and what are your favorite tactics/roleplaying situations? Mine personally: Trader. I love making a cool hangout or gathering place and just chilling and talkin' shit while sellin beer to the bros. Microwaves draw in a crowd a lot of the time and it lets you interact with a lotta cool people. If I feel like being chaotic I can deliver a drug shipment to the local gangs. My favorite part about being a supplier of any type (guns, drugs, etc) is that oftentimes it builds a trust/honor system between me and the buyers. They know they can get stuff from me at pretty good prices. RE: DarkRP Tactics
Being any sort of sales person is delightful, but burning everything to the ground as a Mob Boss is the best thing ever.
Prying open my third eye. ![]() Spoiler:

RE: DarkRP Tactics
Personally I hate any form of dealer with a passion.
My one and only love is mayor. Banning guns, having people tear down shops and execute people... Fuck yeah ![]() Spoiler:

RE: DarkRP Tactics
And I like that about banning guns. Not only do I get a laugh when people cry about having their shops destroyed but it also allows people to have some fun RP with black markets and shit.

The only issue I have with mayors is when they have the lockdown going constantly. Like when they ban people to the underground- it's not necessary to have infinite lockdown, just check the major exits/entrances and put signs on them. RE: DarkRP Tactics
If I were to enforce rule 12 (before your time you insolent dweeb hurhur) I would start a lockdown until the majority of the population were underground. If no-one listens, the lockdown doesn't end. Simples.
