RE: Attention people I bought gifts for
If someone receives a gift, and the person who gave the gift to the receiver doesn't pay up within one week (either by charge-back or another problem after payment), both accounts will be suspended indefinitely. As a Steam user, you have to decide whether to trust the person that you're receiving the gift from.

And that's why I don't accept random gifts.

Actually, phoenix, it just removes the bloody game.

My account isn't locked, natural selection 2 just made itself unavailable to play, and I can purchase it if I want.

Why hello there insanity
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Actually, Zinc, it's happened to me before and another user when I decided to send a copy of Garry's Mod on the Steam Store, in which my card automatically charged back because PayPal thought Steam was an unauthorized seller. Both of our accounts were suspended until I paid for the gift (Garry's Mod)

So whether or not Steam has changed how the procedure works, don't be a prick about it because you're not receiving a gift that someone attempted to give you, then again; maybe I should of mentioned that this happened at-least 2 years ago.

Not once have I seen Steam attempt to remove a game which was deleted by charge back or another problem without suspending both accounts (sender and receiver) until further action (re-payment)

I'm pretty sure this has changed or else I would be unable to access my account or the other 3 people would either. But I will get everyones gifts back soon enough.

RE: Attention people I bought gifts for
let me guess, none of your reasons for a revoke was directly caused by a PayPal charge back.
