I need help picking out computer parts
Can someone pick out parts for me to build a computer with? My budget is about $750 including shipping and cost for an OS. So yeah, I want to know the best computer build I can possibly get for this price. I would also prefer cool LED fans and stuff for it, but it isn't super important to me.

RE: I need help picking out computer parts
You don't need LEDs and stuff, the "cool factor" is not worth the huge price increase. If you really wanted an LED lit interior you could easily do it yourself with stuff from RadioShack.

I'd also recommend skipping the pretty. Go to BestBuy and talk to them about your budget- they'll hook you up. Don't buy premades

RE: I need help picking out computer parts
1. i7
2. Go to that video card chart and choose the one that offers the best performance for the money. 3. Get the cheapest motherboard you can buy that still has all the stuff you need 4. Buy a SIMPLE case, less shit to go wrong. 5. Buy Arctic Silver 5 (Lasts forever) 6. Buy/scavenge the cheapest fans you can find 7. Use your old HDD 8. Don't waste your money on "cool LED fans". If you REALLY want all that ricer shit buy some wire, multicolor LEDs, a switch, and some resistors. 9. "Acquire" a copy of windows and use the saved money for a better graphics card or HDD. Or just install Linux. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) |

All the different motherboard models and stuff confuse me and the only things I know a lot about are CPU and GPUs ![]() Quotes Spoiler:
