I think everyone should have access to the logs through the forums because it would be really really helpful in proving points for appeals and such and would probably cut down on drakes workload with dealing with reports. Instead of making a forum mod or drake shovel through hours worth of logs the OP could find the logs himself and post the exact time of the incident. Idk if its a safety threat or what but it would be so helpful if we could have access to that.

Live logs would turn up to be a problem if users can see what is going on in staff chat or private messages.

That's true but maybe if drake could make it have a 20 minute delay, so it wont be live then it will be impossible to use for cheating.

I mean idk how many of you are in college but its tough to find time to play, this would help drake out immensly cuz when you have ten page research papers due in 2 days its tough haha but good for him, i wouldnt b able to do what he does

User kills another user > Killed user waits the timeout > Checks logs > Revenge Kills

User plans raid > Raids > Raided uses logs to find who was involved and mass rdm them all

Its a bad idea, not so much because users don't deserve the right to be able to defend themselves in an appeal or report to the best of their ability, but more because while some users can be trusted, others can't.

make logs available during the process of making a report, maybe?

Give it to elders cause we're online every day on the forums but only once a week on the server. True story (honestly I wouldn't mind having log access to help)

Give it to mods plus or if the user had reached a certain time they can use them but if they're found to be abusing them that right will be taken away.
