Riccitiello always portrayed the image of an exec who actually plays games. The bosses at Activision or Microsoft wouldn't talk about the games they played. But Riccitiello would happily chat not just about his experiences with EA's own but about the competition's. And if you got him talking about, say, EA's Mirror's Edge, he'd express design ideas about how to make it better.

It probably wasn't the CEO's decision but the board on the DRM part, so i feel bad about this.

I doubt you're going to see a change in the marketing policies of the company because of this

It will be interesting to see what happens. If nothing changes o well they will be another dead company soon enough.

EA was good, but now they are crappy. They aren't the same company as before. If they go, the old EA will still live on, in my heart and in the hearts of millions of fans. The true old EA will live on for many years to come, even if the company dies.
