Poll: What kind of minecraft Server

Alright so their was a large amount of wanting for both the server to be either Universal electricity (the download version, not the FTB modpack version.) OR Vanilla. Now at this point i just want to bloody play.

I know. in case of a tie, Vanilla wins i guess since it's easier. Even though i personally voted for UE

ok, idk if Ryladine wants to do this or not, and no this isnt a advertisment for my server, but he can put the UE server up, me and my friends have been working on a vanilla / bukkit server with a few plugins for the last week and a half, so if you guys wanna play both you can play Ryladine's and mine, its totally up to Ryladine tho

I gotta say that would be nice calyx. Have both options. I still don't know why we don't just have a "HUB" are with a portal to a UE world, and also have a vanilla world.

Because of how mods work.

On a side note, I could run both on the box if drake would allow it, I haven't asked because I'm doubtful he would be willing to open the extra port that would be needed.

Want to mention while I'm thinking about it, I will NOT be setting up a UE server that is purely built by hand, if its modded it comes from a client everyone can easily use or it doesn't happen. (FTB)

The sad thing about FTB is that it has a lot of unupdated mods.

Guess what, the tekkit you all wanted before was worse about unupdated mods. FTB isn't that badly out of date, I won't be getting permission/fixing conflicts on every mod you guys want, not to mention distribution problems.

Tekkit was fine until the point you were banning stuff at that point you needed addons that werent supported by all the mods.

Tekkit wasn't fine, the mods were needed not because I was banning stuff but because people were griefing. The banning of items were for game play dynamics. I won't listen to any pissing over that because it will happen in UE too if I find something that needs it. You wouldn't put up with items that can lag servers endlessly or give infinite everything on the server to a user on the darkrp would you? I won't put up with it on any MC server I run for you.

You better that vanilla from the beginning we started over like 20 times another restart is just unneeded. Vanilla is just vanilla don't like it don't play minecraft.

Alright UE won lets just do the FTB version so we don't have to fix conflicts in packages or any of that bullshit. And tekkit isn't even an option so if you want to bitch/discuss it make your own thread.
